Obituary of Andres Ismael Zaragoza, Jr.

Andres Ismael Zaragoza, age 52, passed away at home, Saturday, March 2, 2024. Andy was born June 30, 1971 in Saginaw Michigan to Mary “Marcia” Zaragoza. He grew up and was raised on the East Side of Saginaw until he moved to Bay City with his best friend and mother of his children, Becky Walker.  Andy had many roles in life.  He was a son, nephew, cousin, brother, uncle, and friend.  However, his most cherished role was that of Dad and Papa.

The love he had for his family was immeasurable.   He was their rock, their protector, their strength, and their support.  You could depend on Andy to be there for you during the toughest of times.  He enjoyed listening to 80’s music, WWE wrestling, going to concerts, Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Snap Chat, and taking care of his beloved dog “Chula”

Andy leaves behind his best friend, Becky Walker; daughters, Jade Asia Zaragoza, Kareem Jasper, Madison McDowell, and Emilio Soto; granddaughters, Kataleya, Sahana, and Mariella who were his pride and joy; brothers, Abel Mendoza and Mike Hernandez; sisters-in-law, Terry, Kathy, and MaryAnn; brothers-in-law, Charlie, David, Johnny, and Freddie Walker.  Greeting him in Heaven were his mom, Mary; many Aunts and Uncles; his in-laws, Barbara and Eddie Walker; his brother, Tony (White Tone) Hawkins; and grandson, Marcellus.
